A ceramic vase made by Mai Tagawa.
It is characterized by the texture which reminds you some living thing's fur, and the unique color changes of the clay from *Shigaraki. You can enjoy it from all angles, as it has a unique shape that looks like it was created by the wind swirling around it. The wide mouth let you to arrange a lot of flowers in it, or to simply arrange a single flower.
*Shigaraki is one of the oldest pottery producing places in Japan.

"I listen to the voice of soil, how they want to be."

Graduated from Tama Art University. While a student at the university, she studied ceramic art. Currently based in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. She creates tablewares and vases with the unique scarlet coloration of clay.
