Collection: Studio Éter
Established in 2020 by founder Jessica Laureano.
Studio Éter is inspired by the formal language of objects, their stories, and the enduring cultural value that tools and objects have bestowed upon man, perpetually reflecting one's understanding of the world.
They understand the process of making objects as ritual, the mediation of earth, water, air, fire and aether (éter).
Jessica is inspired by her home, Portugal, its heritage and culture which permeate(s) throughout the studio's work.
Each object is the gestural beneficiary of her life, a nostalgia for home, an ambition, a time or place, a memory or fleeting moment that touches the spirit.
Whilst inspired by the spirits of past time, the studio is focused on being contemporary, that is, to understand the context of the present and be critically judgemental on all political matters. They constantly seek new ways to be environmentally conscious, as resources are increasingly finite in this paradigm.
