TALL VASE

A ceramic vase made by Mai Tagawa.
It has a simple shape, but has a strong presence by the fur-like texture. It looks good to be placed on the floor and arrange some small branches in it, as it has a good height. *Shigaraki is one of the oldest pottery producing places in Japan.

MAI TAGAWA

"I listen to the voice of soil, how they want to be."

Graduated from Tama Art University. While a student at the university, she studied ceramic art. Currently based in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. She creates tablewares and vases with the unique scarlet coloration of clay.
