A poster with numbers designed on it.
Probably a chart used in an old silkworm farm in Japan. The numbers in bold types give this piece a strong presence. In the middle of the Edo period (1603 - 1868), Nobuo-gun, Fukushima Prefecture, where the address is printed, became one of the leading sericultural areas in Japan, accounting for more than half of the nation's sericultural production. From the name of the place, this print was probably made before 1955.
