KUMAGORO 01
A glass vase made by Yuri Iwamoto.
It has a plump body with narrow mouth, which let you to arrange a small bouquet easily. As it has a metalic texture on the parts, you can enjoy the color changes by looking into various angles. The word "kuma" in the name means "a bear" in Japanese. But this work was inspired by the sea squirt. What kind of creature do you think this is?

Graduated from Musashino Art University. While a student at the university, she studied at Aalto University in Finland as an exchange student. Currently based in Toyama, Japan, she creates a wide range of works including vases and sculptures using hot work technique.
