A glass object made by Yuri Iwamoto.
As the name suggests, the motif is a clione. This piece seems to capture the moment of the creature gracefully swimming in the sea. Small pink fragments trapped inside which reminds you the organs of clione, enhances the depth of the glass. Have you ever seen the shocking sight of a clione while eating? "I try to keep the intention of the molten glass as it is, and create a form in dialogue with materials."

Graduated from Musashino Art University. While a student at the university, she studied at Aalto University in Finland as an exchange student. Currently based in Toyama, Japan, she creates a wide range of works including vases and sculptures using hot work technique.
