A glass object made by Yuri Iwamoto.
There was a restaurant in the Czech Republic that served butter on a massive rock-like stone with bread. I was impressed by the challenging spirit of using found natural objects as vessels. Just by placing butter on this glass chunk, it will bring a primitive mood to your table.

*We cannot deliver exactly the same one as in the photo since each piece is specially made by hand. Hope you could embrace the uniqueness of it.

YURI IWAMOTO
Glass artist

"I try to keep the intention of the molten glass as it is, and create a form in dialogue with materials."

Graduated from Musashino Art University. While a student at the university, she studied at Aalto University in Finland as an exchange student. Currently based in Toyama, Japan, she creates a wide range of works including vases and sculptures using hot work technique.
