A ceramic vase made by Mai Tagawa.
It is characterized by the texture which reminds you some living thing's fur, and the unique color changes of the clay from *Shigaraki. It has a stable shape though, the space in the center, like a wind tunnel, gives it a light impression. You can just display it as an object, or simply arrange a single flower in it. The small hole makes it easy to keep a single flower straight.
*Shigaraki is one of the oldest pottery producing places in Japan.

Graduated from Tama Art University. While a student at the university, she studied ceramic art. Currently based in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. She creates tablewares and vases with the unique scarlet coloration of clay.
